Tirumalai Eye Clinic is a Super Specialty Eye Hospital located in 5th Block Jayanagar, South Bangalore. It offers comprehensive eye care services to its patients.
History
Established in 1985 as an outpatient clinic in 4th Block, Jayanagar, by Dr. T. A. Srikanth, the clinic aimed to provide quality ophthalmic services with an affiliation to Lion’s Eye Hospital, where surgical services were also offered. From 1990 to 2003, it operated its own day care surgical facility across the road in a rented premises, providing various surgical services.
In 2003, the clinic moved to its present location to offer a wider range of services for its patients.
Facility Features
The new clinic features disability-friendly facilities including a large patient waiting area, three well-equipped consulting rooms with intercom and computerized networking facilities to facilitate cross-consultation. Additionally, there is a spacious reception area with patient counseling facilities, along with computerized registration and electronic medical record keeping.
Other features include a medical record section, a modern surgical suite, an investigation room for Perimetry, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography, and Laser treatment, as well as a library, an in house Pharmacy and an ancillary optical dispensing unit.

Tirumalai Eye Clinic currently caters to the general public while being empanelled with various health insurance plans and private companies. The clinic aims to access more health insurance schemes, including those offered by private and government institutions. Dr. T.A. Srikanth
MBBS, MD(AIIMS), MNAMS.
Dr. Srikanth.T.A is the founder and Medical Director of Tirumalai Eye Clinic. He comes with over 45 years of experience in Ophthalmology. He started Tirumalai Eye Clinic in 1985 with a view to provide quality eye care.
He did his Post Graduation from AIIMS, New Delhi and briefly trained in Japan.
Cataract and Retinal Surgeon
Dr. Sriram Thirumalai
MBBS, MS(MAMC), Fellow VR
Dr. Sriram joined his father, Dr. Srikanth.T.A in 2017. He is a cataract and vitreoretinal surgeon with a developing interest in Refractive surgery.
He did his Post Graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery from Sankara Eye Hospital, Bangalore.
